Dr. Damion Hew moved to Miami, from Montego Bay Jamaica, at the age of 10. He went on to attend Christopher Columbus High School.  Dr Hew completed his Undergraduate education at The University of Miami with Bachelors of Science in Biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida in 2007. Following dental school, Dr Hew did an Oral surgery internship at LSU. Upon completion of the internship, Dr Hew was accepted at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program. At his graduation in 2013, Dr Hew was awarded his Chief Resident Certificate, as well as The Professors Cup, an award that is given to the best overall resident. Dr Hew furthered his training by completing a 2 year fellowship in Head and Neck Tumor and Reconstructive surgery at UM/JMH.  
During his free time Dr Hew enjoys spending time with his two kids and enjoying life in South Florida.
